our mission
Second Chance Ranch is dedicated to fostering positive personal growth and transformation through the powerful connection between humans and horses.
Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can discover their potential, develop essential life skills, and cultivate emotional well -being through
Equine Assisted Learning (EAL). We believe in the innate ability of horses to inspire self -awareness, build leadership skills, and enhance interpersonal relationships. Through meaningful interactions with our equine partners, we aim to guide individuals on a journey of self -discovery, empowerment, and positive change, offering them a second chance to thrive and succeed in all aspects of life.
The Second Chance Philosophy
Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves a second chance. Life often throws challenges that can derail even the strongest among us. When that happens, it’s not about the fall, but how you rise again.
Here at Second Chance Ranch, we offer not just a hand to hold but also a hoof to guide you.
Who We Serve
We are honored to serve children/teens ages 5–17 years here at Second Chance Ranch.
At Second Chance Ranch, we believe that every child deserves hope, healing, and a second chance to thrive. Many young people in our community are walking through difficult circumstances; experiences such as abuse, neglect, grief, family trauma, or the loss of someone they love.
In a time when mental health resources are often limited or out of reach, we aim to bridge that gap by providing a safe, nurturing environment where restoration can begin.
Children in crisis need stability, safety, and trust. The foundation of every healthy relationship. Our rescued horses, each with their own story of recovery, help build those bridges. Through meaningful interactions with both a caring mentor and a horse who understands what it means to heal, children can begin to rediscover peace, confidence, and hope for their future.
